About us
Located in the very heart of the historic city center, if you’re heading towards Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, Kafka’s Head, or Wenceslas Square, you’ll come across our small restaurant. We always have the best Czech beers on tap, fresh traditional meals, and the good old spirit of the Pub – a symbol of our nation as significant as the tales of the good soldier Švejk and all the other stories from our ancient city.
We want to pay tribute to our beloved character and continue the legacy of the stories that made us who we are today. Our walls are adorned with original artworks by the illustrator Josef Lada, who published the very first illustrated adaptation of Švejk. Inside the café, you’ll also find original merchandise from the books, and our friendly staff is always here to cater to your needs and guide you through this experience, so you can fully enjoy Prague.
