Švejkova Kavárna Corner
Located in the very heart of the historic city center, if you are heading towards the Charles Bridge, the Astronomical Clock, Kafka’s Head, or Wenceslas Square, you will come across our small restaurant. We always have the best Czech draft beers, freshly prepared traditional dishes, and the old, familiar spirit of a pub—a symbol of our nation as significant as the tales of the good soldier Švejk and all the other stories from our ancient city.
We want to pay tribute to our beloved character and continue the legacy of the stories that have made us who we are today. Our walls are adorned with original artwork by the illustrator Josef Lada, who created the very first illustrated adaptation of Švejk. Inside, you’ll also find unique merchandise from the books, and our friendly staff is always here to cater to your needs and guide you through this experience, so you can enjoy Prague to the fullest.
